MedAscend Named Winner in Converge 2025 Main Category

We’re honoured and excited to announce that MedAscend has been awarded funding and in-kind support as Runner Up in the Main Category of the Converge Challenge 2025!

Converge is Scotland’s flagship company creation programme, attracting a record-breaking pool of over 300 applicants this year from across all 19 Scottish universities. To place 2nd overall in the main category among the nation’s top startups and spin-outs is an incredible achievement, and proof that our vision is resonating at the highest level.

Representing MedAscend at the awards ceremony, Co-Founder Hana Woods accepted the award on behalf of our team, highlighting the dedication, innovation, and purpose that drive our mission to transform clinical education.

This marks the third time in the past year that MedAscend has been recognised at Scotland’s most competitive startup competitions, following our two Scottish EDGE wins.

For us, this award is more than a trophy. It signifies that MedAscend is a validated force in clinical education, backed by rigorous judging, academic networks, and entrepreneurial excellence.
